A black-and-white historical photo shows two medical professionals, a man and a woman in early 20th-century attire, standing beside a hospital bed with a patient. The image is overlaid with a long block of text describing the 1922 University of Toronto medical breakthrough where insulin was administered to children dying from diabetic keto-acidosis, resulting in their miraculous awakenings. The text concludes with a thank you to Dr. Banting and Dr. Best.
