Dramatic Moments from 'Imhotep's Transformation': A Look into the Belgian Series 'Papyrus'

This comic strip panel shows a dramatic scene from an ancient Egyptian setting where a man in leopard-skin attire declares himself a new Pharaoh, claiming to be chosen by Horus to overthrow the current ruler. The crowd cheers him on, shouting titles like 'First prophet of Ptah' and 'Almighty bull,' while a princess and other figures react with shock and protest. The man then boasts he will prove his worth by ritual running, but his confidence is abruptly shattered as he looks terrified in the final panel. The text includes historical context about Hatshepsut, a real female Pharaoh, and a footnote explaining the 'lmyt-per' scroll. The comic's visual style is classic 1970s-80s adventure art with bold lines and dramatic expressions.
