An open letter to all 50 states:
A six-panel comic strip featuring anthropomorphic country balls: the USA (wearing sunglasses), Canada (wearing glasses), and Quebec (wearing glasses). The USA asks Canada if it wants to become a state, then suggests Canada spend a day with Quebec as a 'get-to-know-you' before potential union. After three hours, the USA is distressed, having lost its glasses to Quebec, who is revealed to be a very different person than described — religiously, politically, and linguistically. The final panel shows Quebec returning, and Canada apologizing to the USA, who then never bothers Canada again. The text is overlaid on each panel, describing the dialogue and actions.
