A Simple Guide to Understanding Cartography

This image is a guide titled 'A Dodo's Guide to Cartography Basics: Common Mistakes,' displaying six pairs of maps. Each pair shows a flawed map (marked with a red X) next to a corrected version (marked with a green checkmark). The flaws include square landmasses, flat mountains, overly detailed coastlines, too many islands, lack of geological flow, and distorted polar regions. Each section has a title and explanatory text describing the mistake and how to fix it. The guide is presented in a clean, educational layout with a beige background and dark teal map backgrounds.
