Day 772: Join Me on My Journey at www.saidtheskinhorse.com - Celebrating Childhood Toys with Wooly the Mammoth!
A brown, fuzzy plush mammoth toy with curved white tusks sits on a beige carpet. Overlaid text identifies it as 'Wooly', an 8-year-old toy from 1980, and includes a nostalgic anecdote from owner Vince about receiving it from a Smithsonian museum friend and using it to entertain his granddaughter. The text humorously notes the tusks are 'a little dingy and yellow, but that feels appropriate for his age.'
