My all-time favorite tale: The God of Arepo

This image displays a long-form text-based meme, resembling a Reddit post, telling a three-part story. The first part describes a farmer named Arepo who builds a simple stone temple and befriends a god of fallen leaves. The second part shows a character named Sora discovering the ruined temple and the god's bones, learning the god was Arepo. The third part reveals the god, now elderly, has become the god of devotion and friendship, and is asked by a new god to move to a grander temple, to which Arepo declines, stating he prefers to stay where he is. The text is presented in a plain black font on a white background, with user names and profile pictures visible at the start of each section.
