Installing a GM 4L80E in my classic 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass S

Three automotive transmissions are laid side-by-side on a concrete floor, each labeled with its model name, weight in pounds, and height in inches. The leftmost transmission, a 4L80E, is the tallest at 31 13/16" and heaviest at 185 lbs. The middle one, a TH400, is 28 3/4" tall and weighs 136 lbs. The rightmost, a 2004R, is the shortest at 27 7/8" and lightest at 114 lbs. Yellow arrows and measurement lines highlight each unit's dimensions.
