The image displays a photo of Ronald Reagan smiling, overlaid with a quote attributed to him: 'I didn't leave the Democratic party; the Democratic party left me.' Above the photo, a block of text presents a satirical history of the Democratic Party, claiming its founders were KKK members, that it became progressive after the 1955 Civil Rights Act, and that Reagan left it because it became 'KKK' values. The text also falsely claims Reagan was welcomed by Richard Nixon. The image is sourced from AZ Quotes.
