The Unlikely Connection: An Austrian Stamp and a Ballpoint Pen

A vintage 1974 Austrian 3s postage stamp depicting a mountainous landscape with cabins and the text 'BISCHOFSMOITZ' and 'REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH'. A large, crudely drawn tree branch has been added to the right side, appearing to be stuck in the stamp's design. The stamp has perforated edges and is printed in blue ink on a light blue background.
