Violence isn't just for the oppressors anymore

A torn piece of white paper with handwritten black text is stuck to a rusty metal pole in a subway station. The text reads: 'ONE PERSON WITH A PISTOL JUST SHOOK THE RULING CLASS MORE THAN DECADES OF PEACEFUL ORGANIZING'. Behind the pole, a blue train is visible on the tracks, and the platform edge with a yellow safety line can be seen. The pole also has faded spray-painted graffiti above the note. The image is taken from a low angle, looking up at the pole.
