What Year Are We in on the Germany Timeline from 1920 to 1945?

A historical black-and-white photograph shows a man standing before a line of soldiers holding rifles, with a group of children watching from behind. The man appears to be Dakota Akicita, and the caption states he was facing a firing squad in 1883-1890 for refusing to surrender his Wapaha (headdress of feathers). The text overlays the image, calling for confronting 'real American history' and stating the children watching were from a boarding school. The image is credited to Reggie Mitchell.
