What If We Still Used Last Names Based on Our Professions?

The image shows a screenshot of a Twitter-like interface with two tweets. The first tweet by 'importantlesbian' imagines a world where people take surnames from their professions, like 'fisher', 'smith', or 'fletcher', and then humorously suggests someone introducing themselves as 'jonathan podcaster'. The second tweet by 'scribblestheunicorn' replies with 'It's him,,, Ted Talker', implying the name 'podcaster' is a pun on 'Ted Talker', a reference to the popular speaker Ted Koppel. The joke relies on the pun between 'podcaster' and 'Ted Talker' to create a humorous twist.
