The Most Controversial Nomination in American History

The image is a two-part meme. The top part shows a news segment from NBC's 'Meet the Press Now' featuring John Bolton being interviewed, with a headline overlay from the New York Post stating 'John Bolton says Matt Gaetz's AG nomination is worst 'in American history''. The bottom part features a scene from The Simpsons where Homer Simpson is talking to Bart Simpson, with the text 'WORST NOMINATION FOR A CABINET POSITION IN AMERICAN HISTORY... ...SO FAR' overlaid. The meme juxtaposes Bolton's strong criticism of Matt Gaetz's nomination with Homer's sarcastic 'so far' remark, implying the criticism is premature or overly dramatic.
