Can We Please Just Stick to Standard Time Year Round?

A color-coded map of the United States showing the latest sunrise time of the year if daylight saving time were made permanent, with states shaded in varying purples and pinks indicating different time ranges from 7:30 to 10 a.m. or later. Text boxes explain that Alaska and higher-latitude areas are accustomed to darkness, some parts of Montana, North Dakota, and Michigan won't see sunrise until after 9:30 a.m., and Alabama and parts of other states will still see sunrises before 8 a.m. The map includes time zone labels and a note that sunrise times are calculated based on the centerpoint of each county.
