Exploring the Concept of Double Standards

The image is split vertically, showing two news headlines side-by-side. The left side features a 2024 Washington Post headline about Israeli troops moving into Syria, with soldiers in tanks waving an Israeli flag. The right side shows a 2022 PBS headline about Russia invading Ukraine, with soldiers in tanks waving a Russian flag. The word 'invades' in the Russian headline is highlighted in yellow, contrasting with the phrase 'move swiftly' in the Israeli headline, which is also highlighted in yellow. The image uses a torn-paper effect to separate the two news stories, visually comparing the two military actions.
