A Hilarious Moment: Nervous Laughter Ensues

The image is a two-panel meme from the TV show 'The West Wing'. In the top panel, a man in a suit says he doesn't vote Republican or Democrat because choosing is a sin, so he writes in 'the Lord's name'. In the bottom panel, another man responds, 'That's Republican, we count those.' The humor stems from the absurdity of the religious justification for voting and the punchline that 'the Lord's name' is statistically counted as a Republican vote.
