The Epic Tale of Fingolfin vs Morgoth: A Legendary Showdown

A comic strip parodying a child's reaction to a grandpa reading Tolkien's 'The Silmarillion,' where the child initially thinks it's a history book, then gets excited about the epic battle between Fingolfin and Morgoth. The panels show the child's confusion, the grandpa reading dense, dramatic text, and fantasy art depicting Fingolfin and Morgoth. The text overlays include the child's dialogue and the actual quoted passage from Tolkien's work, highlighting the contrast between the child's casual view of fantasy and the epic gravity of the source material.
