Roger Mellie in Viz 032: The Countround Chronicles

A black-and-white comic strip titled 'Roger Mellie the Man on the Telly' depicts a game show host, Roger, who is called in to replace a sick presenter. He arrives late, dressed flamboyantly, and delivers a disastrously awkward and inappropriate introduction, leading to multiple 'cut' commands from the director. The comic shows his escalating mishaps, including mispronouncing contestant names and delivering offensive punchlines, culminating in him being told to skip the intro and get straight to the show. The humor stems from his incompetence and the absurdity of his on-air antics.
