Something About History: Doomed to Repeat It

A black-and-white photo of a large, passionate protest crowd with many people raising their fists in the air, set against a backdrop of trees and city buildings. The image is overlaid with a long block of text quoting Richard Rorty's 1998 book 'Achieving our Country,' which discusses the political dynamics between labor unions, unskilled workers, suburban white-collar workers, and the electorate's potential shift toward electing a 'strongman' to replace 'smug bureaucrats' and other professionals. The text is presented in a plain white font on a dark background, occupying the top half of the image.
