Experience the Vibes: Sam Rivers Concert II

A printed concert program for a Sam Rivers jazz event at the University of Pittsburgh Library System, resting on a gray fabric chair. The right page lists the musical pieces as 'Inspiration,' 'Solace,' 'Rejuvenation,' 'Whirlwind,' 'Beatrice,' and 'Culmination,' alongside a photo of Sam Rivers. The left page details the musicians and their instruments. The joke comes from the program listing the pieces as 'Inspiration,' 'Solace,' 'Rejuvenation,' 'Whirlwind,' 'Beatrice,' and 'Culmination,' which are all words that sound like they could be titles for a self-help or motivational book, making the concert feel like a spiritual or emotional journey rather than a typical jazz performance.
