Exploring Michael Sowa's 'No Go Area' from 1945

A painting depicts a white dog sitting upright and smoking a cigarette, with smoke curling from it, while a tabby cat watches intently from the right. A small yellow chick stands nearby on the floor, seemingly eating something. The scene is set indoors against green walls and wooden paneling, with the artist's signature 'SOWA' visible in the bottom-left corner. The overlaid text reads 'dog smoking cigarette, cat watching, chick eating'.
