Embracing the Quirky and the Unusual

A screenshot of a tweet by Matt Gaetz that reads 'Obama leads off with stories as real as my 5th grade Canadian girlfriend.' This tweet is overlaid on a quote attributed to Maya Angelou: 'When people tell you who they are, believe them the first time.' The meme juxtaposes the quote with Gaetz's tweet to mock his claim that Obama's stories are implausible, implying that Gaetz himself is being disingenuous or absurd by comparing Obama's credibility to a 5th-grade Canadian girlfriend.
