In November 1962, Vaughn Meader's 'The First Family' took the world by storm, selling over a million copies weekly and humorously parodying President Kennedy.

This vintage album cover for 'The First Family' by Bob Booker and Earle Doud features a staged photo of several actors in 1960s attire posing on the lawn of the White House. The central figures are a man and woman dressed as a presidential couple, flanked by other cast members including a nurse pushing a baby carriage, a man holding skis, a woman with a balloon, and another man with a small horse. The text at the top identifies the performers and the album title. The image is a parody of a presidential family photo, using actors to represent the real family, and the album is a satirical musical comedy.
