The Great Water Roll-Back Adventure

A political cartoon shows six glasses arranged in two rows, each representing a U.S. water pollution law or policy change from 1948 to 2019. The glasses visually depict water quality: the first three (1948, 1972, 1987) show progressively clearer water, while the last three (1990, 2015, 2019) show water that becomes murkier again, especially in 2019. Each glass is labeled with its corresponding law or event: 'Federal Water Pollution Control Act', 'The Clean Water Act', 'Water Quality Act', 'Oil Pollution Act', 'Wetlands protections strengthened', and 'Trump administration rolls it all back'. The title at the top reads 'THE LONG SLOW FIGHT TO CLEAN UP OUR WATER'.
