Embracing the Joy of Sunday Funday

A four-panel comic strip by The Oatmeal depicts a corn cob and a candy corn falling in love, despite a religious decree forbidding their union. The corn cob declares their love, but a stern authority figure forbids them. They defy the ban and kiss passionately, leading to a newspaper headline declaring their union an 'ABOMINATION BORN!' with a distressed candy corn in the background. The comic ends with the artist's signature 'The Oatmeal'.
