In October 1997, Ty Inc. revealed their heartfelt Beanie Baby tribute to the beloved Princess Diana.

A purple Ty Beanie Baby bear with a gold rose emblem and a red ribbon sits beside a heart-shaped tag. The tag features a large cursive 'Diana' and text stating that profits from the sale of this specific Princess Beanie Buddy will be donated to the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund. The background is solid purple.
