What Public Domain Will Look Like in 2025
This is a two-part comic strip from 'Buck Rogers, 2429 A.D.' showing Buck Rogers waking up after a 500-year sleep. The top panel, 'The Sleeper,' depicts him in a cave, startled by a 'half-breed' and a girl, with text describing his awakening and confusion. The bottom panel, 'The Awakening,' shows him emerging from the cave into a forest, encountering a girl who asks if he's 'either a spy or a back-up,' and he responds that he's 'Buck Rogers, 2429 A.D.' The comic is in black and white with classic 1930s art style, and the creators' names are visible at the bottom of each panel.
