When will the well-regulated militia spring into action?

A screenshot of a CNN Politics article headline about the Trump administration firing top military leaders, overlaid with the text 'Trump administration fires top US general and Navy chief in unprecedented purge of military leadership'. The image shows a photo of a Black man in a military uniform with glasses, looking serious, seated at a table with other people in the background. The article is dated February 21, 2025, and the photo caption identifies him as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr. The joke plays on the irony of a military leader being fired by a president who is often portrayed as having a strong anti-establishment or anti-military stance, despite the military being a key institution.
